Since we’ve released the Mydoma Visualizer, we’ve seen so many designers create amazing visualizations and renders for their clients. But, we’ve also seen so many designers who either want to get started, or, improve their skills – but don’t necessarily know where to start. And while we could always do another webinar, or send you to some training videos, we thought “why not make things interesting?” 
Designer Virtual Home Tour is your opportunity to show what you do, refine your craft in a near-life, no-risk environment, and get the chance to win some amazing prizes.
It’s a 6-week long contest that has you designing one, or multiple rooms of a 2-story home designed with families or aging-in-place in mind. You’ll pick one of our “clients” (avatars we’ve created for the contest that have their own different needs, budgets, and interests), choose a room (or design multiple!), and create a design in the Mydoma Visualizer that showcases your story, but keeps your “client’s” needs in mind.
Now this is the fun part, isn’t it? We have some incredible incentives to help motivate and excite you!
The Grand Prize
One designer will be headed to High Point in style, because the grand prize for the contest is a VIP trip to Spring Market at High Point in North Carolina (worth $3,500+) We’ll fly you down, set you up, and get you into Spring Market.
The Top 5 Designs
The top 5 designs that score the highest out of the 100-point scoring system will win some amazing product from our sponsors OR gift cards.
Raffle Draws
We’ll also have a number of raffle draws! Designers can get multiple entries for this raffle draws during the course of the contest by doing optional challenges and event promotion through social or blog.
Don’t worry! The Mydoma Visualizer is incredibly intuitive and makes it easy to get started! It’s drag-and-drop functionality also means you don’t need to have knowledge or experience with complex drafting software to use or understand it. We’ll also provide you with a ton of training and help over the course of the contest, so no matter what your level of experience, we encourage you to enter!
This is a great way to get started, because you’ll get valuable experience in a near-life scenario, without any of the risks of doing it with a real-life client. So even if you don’t end up winning, you’ll walk away with some valuable experience and knowledge to take your business further!

To enter and submit your design for judging you do have to be on Mydoma though! So if you’re not currently a Mydoma designer, be sure to sign up for a FREE 15-day trial so that you can be eligible, and have the ability to create and submit your design for the contest.
