I’ve been an Interior Designer on Long Island and helping clients create beautiful spaces which reflect their style and sensibilities since 2006. Transforming a client’s dream into a reality is the goal of every project. I am passionate about creating personalized spaces that reflect my client’s personality and lifestyle, enabling my clients to live their best life.
My specialty- I create 3D Renderings for clients and industry professionals. Most of my client’s are busy, working professionals looking to enhance their home, office, or outdoor living space, but lacking the time and desire to oversee it. Providing this visual tool enhances and streamlines our design collaborations.
Recipient of the Designer of the Year Award 2020
While I love seeing a project come to life and hearing my client’s response, my favorite part has always been giving them a visual aid to help them see how things will come together. Almost all of my design jobs are done with the benefit of a rendering, and I feel that these renderings are game changers! I want to help other designers achieve this as well.
I’m easy to work with; I am mindful of the budget that’s been set and if there is ever an issue on the job, it’s ALWAYS taken care of!
Hard to say since I’ve never compared myself to other VA’s. I think we all come from the same “gene pool”. We want to represent, to the best of our ability, what our client’s space will look like, using a digital rendering so that they may feel comfortable as the job moves forward.
Rich Designs prides itself on not having a signature style. Our approach is very versatile and our designs are simple yet elegant. We know that good design is timeless and personal, and we strive to deliver the best possible design solution while maintaining an equal balance between aesthetics and functionality.
As the designer’s virtual assistant I will offer to make suggestions that the designer may have not considered and also listen to their ideas and goals. Being their assistant, and making them a better designer.
Once I’ve received photos of the site, floor plans, upholstery fabric and furniture selections with all corresponding measurements, style of window treatments, color scheme, etc., the designer and I will further discuss how they want the room to be laid out. I will prepare the floor plan based on actual selections and then discuss if they feel any changes need to be made. Once all is agreed upon, I will then begin the process of preparing the rendering. At this point art work will be added/suggested and the design becomes more collaborative. Once designer and I agree on what will be shown to the client, I will put together the concept board with proposed pieces.
