“Cindy Krauklis, pronounced “”crock-less,”” is a Virtual Design Assistant valued for her impressive problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and easy-going personality. With years of experience in interior design, Cindy has developed a strong passion for creating photorealistic 3D renders and visual content that elevate client presentations.
In 2020, she started offering virtual design assistant services to other designers, with a focus on improving clients’ experiences through clear, concise presentations. Today, supporting fellow design professionals is her primary goal. She provides 3D rendering services and digital products while also teaching designers how to render. Cindy is committed to helping designers effectively communicate their design concepts and stand out from the competition.”
What made you decide to become a Designer Virtual Assistant?
I took a few 3D rendering and product modeling courses and became obsessed with it. After implementing and seeing its success in my own business, I wanted to offer it to other designers.

What is your X-factor a.k.a. the one thing that differentiates you from other VA’s?
As a virtual design assistant, I bring a unique mix of skills and expertise to the table. I have educational and hands-on experience in design, 3D rendering, modelling and photography. I’m proficient in various software programs, such as Chief Architect, SketchUp, and MyDoma Visualizer. I understand the intricacies of 3D rendering and can help take a design presentation beyond the basics.
What is your signature style and/or the styles that you love working with?
I’ve been loving both modern and traditional styles lately. It really depends on the vibe of the house!
What is your key strength as a virtual assistant?
I’m all about the details and I love to keep things organized. That’s why I work hard to stay on top of project info and communicate effectively with my clients.
Give us a glimpse of what happens behind the scenes when you’re putting together project for a designer (i.e. your process).
As an assistant, I always ensure that I am organized and on top of every designer’s project. I start by gathering all the necessary information and project details. Once I have everything together, I carefully review and double-check to ensure that there is no missing information or ambiguity. Then, I start working on the project. Within 2-10 days, I provide the designer with a preview “rough draft” of their plans. During this phase, we can make any necessary adjustments to ensure that the project meets their expectations. After all the changes are completed, I send them the final version of their 3D renders within 48 hours.
What are 3 Fun facts about you ?!?!?!
- Design is my 2nd career, but it has always been my first choice. From a very young age, I had the decorating bug. Thinking that it was too hard and complicated to run a design business, I decided to get into healthcare instead. As a Phlebotomist, I was known for my ability to “”get blood from a stone”” and my painless needle technique. To this day, I can still spot a “”good”” vein from across the room.
- I love books but I’m becoming more and more of an audiobook person. I keep buying the “”regular”” books with the full intention of reading them but never do!
- I recently discovered I have a “”Canadian”” accent.”
