A Smarter Catalog, Smoother Presentations, and Fewer Small Frictions 

Mydoma exists to keep sourcing, presenting, and specifying in one place, so designers spend less time managing tools and more time designing. This release is centered on that idea: sourcing gets smarter, presenting to clients gets easier, and a handful of mobile frictions get cleared out of the way. Here’s what’s new. 

Connected Catalog & Design Boards 

Sourcing the right product shouldn’t take five open tabs and a screenshot folder nobody can make sense of later. Connected Catalog and Design Boards live right inside Mydoma so a project can move from first idea to client-ready presentation without ever stepping outside the platform. 

It starts with finding the piece. Connected Catalog puts hundreds of thousands of trade-specific products from trusted vendors directly at a designer’s fingertips, searchable and filterable the moment inspiration strikes, with no more digging through vendor sites or bookmarking things that get lost. From there, Design Boards is where the sourcing turns into a story. A board can be built around a room, a client, or a concept, and exported as a polished PDF whenever it’s ready to share. Pairing a board with AI Rendering takes it a step further, turning the actual products a designer chose into a photorealistic room rather than a generic stock image, so a client can see the finished space instead of imagining it. 

The result is a workflow with nothing to export, nothing to re-enter, and nothing to lose track of between sourcing something a designer loves and showing a client why. Connected Catalog also gets smarter this month, making the move from browsing to buying feel more continuous, with fewer breaks in flow along the way. 

Mobile App 

A few small but persistent frictions on mobile have been cleaned up. Adding a note to an item from the iOS app now works the way it should, so a thought can be captured in the field instead of waiting until a designer is back at their desk. And the All Filters view in the Product Catalog now displays its categories properly when selected, so filtering never leads to an empty, confusing list. 

Between a catalog built to move faster from browsing to buying and a mobile experience with fewer rough edges, this release is about clearing away the small things that slow a workday down, so there’s more time left for the parts of the job that actually require a designer’s eye.
