Mydoma exists to help designers move from concept to client-ready presentation without friction, and July’s release pushes that further than ever. The headline story is AI Rendering on Design Boards, now live for every Mydoma firm, paired with color filtering in the Connected Catalog that makes sourcing feel more intuitive. A handful of focused fixes round things out across payments, proposals, invoicing, and the mobile app. Here’s what’s new.
Presenting a room to a client is about to feel different. You can now select the real products already sitting on your design board and generate photorealistic renderings of those exact pieces in an actual room, without exporting anything, without opening a third-party tool, and without rebuilding your selections somewhere else. The products are real, the room is real, and the result looks like it. It all happens without ever leaving Mydoma.
Sourcing usually starts with a feeling before it starts with a spec sheet, and the catalog can now keep pace with that. Designers can filter the Connected Catalog by color, choosing from a set of preset shades or defining a custom one, so the results on screen match the direction already in mind instead of asking you to scroll past everything that doesn’t. It’s a small change that saves real time on every sourcing session.

Adding a time entry to an invoice is a little clearer now too. The Service field is visually flagged as required before you can proceed, with a helpful message explaining what’s needed, so invoicing for your time goes faster and with fewer stalled attempts.
A few fixes clear out friction that had been slowing teams down. An issue in MydomaPay that could surface an incorrect “Unit price must be greater than zero” error at checkout is resolved, so client payments now go through as expected. Team members with View permissions now get notified by email when a proposal is marked Unapproved, so a status change that affects their work doesn’t slip past unnoticed. Images in exported invoice PDFs now appear correctly, so clients receive documents that look the way they were designed to look. And on iOS, an issue that blocked item notes from being added has been fixed, so notes save as expected in the mobile app.
Taken together, July’s release is about presentation and momentum: rendering that helps a room sell itself, a catalog that responds to instinct instead of endless scrolling, and a set of fixes that keep the everyday parts of the job, payments, proposals, invoicing, from getting in the way. Less friction, more time in the part of the work that actually matters.
